Determine Value of developing a site
The first question you will want to answer is whether there is a viable business case that supports developing a website for your organization. If if is deemed that creating a site for your department is viable, below are the next steps you will need to consider in moving forward with your plans.
Developing a site
Departments can build a site with their own internal resources. Another option would be to contract an approved vendor to develop their site. The final option is to work with the internal Children's PR people to develop the site for them. This final option may be preferred as the internal PR team can also help to train your internal people on easy methods to maintain and make changes to your website using your own internal people.
