- Contact the IS Webmaster Greg Guth (214.456.3886) to upload your sub-site to the test
site server. They will work with you to give you access to your web pages. You might also discuss a time frame when you plan to go to the production server.
- Select a group of people (10-20) inside and outside your department
to pilot test your sub-site. If possible, use high, mid and low-end
equipment and employees with various levels of experience. Is the navigation
easy to understand? Can they access the material quickly? What do they
like, dislike about the site? Establish a set of questions of your own.
- Appoint one or two people who have had nothing to do with the development
of your site to proof for grammar and spelling errors.
- Include Greg Guth (214.456.3886), and Douglas DoNascimento at (214.456.5311) in your testing.
- Review testing results and make changes as needed.
