No content should be placed on the intranet without the approval of the appropriate manager. The intranet is for business purposes only. It is intended for Children's employees. Use discretion when sharing information with others from the intranet
  • Publish only information that you own.
  • Materials published in Inside Children's must comply with legal regulations regarding Copyrights & Trademarks. Make sure the copyright mark is on the appropriate materials on your pages and the index page.
  • Follow established guidelines for Using the Children's Logo.
  • Each page must contain the name of the person responsible for that page.
  • Each page must contain the date of the last update. Review pages a minimum of every 30 days to see if revisions are needed.
  • Use a minimum of graphics and keep them small. Too many and too large graphics slow download time. Visitors to your site are impatient. See graphics information for more detail.
  • Keep documents short. Viewers do not like to scroll. Use links instead. See Writing for the Web.
  • All background for content pages should be white for readability.
  • Keep your site simple.
